Ho Chi Minh City Launches for the First Time the Contest "Microcircuit Design for Smart Cities"

Circuit design is an important and exciting field of engineering that plays a key role in the development of electronic technology and contributes to social and economic progress.

The contest "Circuit design for smart cities" was held for the first time in Ho Chi Minh City to find talents in the field of IC design, contributing to the development of Vietnam's electronics - microchip industry.

The final round and awards will take place in June 2024.

The IC design competition focuses on ideation, design and implementation of IC products.

The incentive IC design problem is aimed at serving fields that need to use semiconductor ICs to increase the efficiency and value of products and services such as information technology and telecommunications, industry. electronics, automobile industry, medical industry,...

The Organizing Committee does not limit the ideas or fields of participating teams.

Important milestone of the competition

-November 2023: ceremony to announce the launch of the contest

-December 2023: preliminary round

The Organizing Committee will select 15-20 best ideas to participate in the implementation room.

-January – May 2024: deployment and training round

After each month, the Professional Council will re-evaluate the products of the competing teams to select the best products to participate in the final round.

-June 2024: final round and award ceremony

01 first prize : Bonus 30,000,000 VND and certificate of merit from the Competition Organizing Committee.
